Yasin

WATSONVILLE—A Watsonville woman who was out on bail for allegedly stabbing a woman in August was arrested again on Sunday after allegedly slashing a man’s face with a knife, Watsonville Police spokeswoman Michelle Pulido said.

Dalilah Yasin, 41, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, mayhem and committing a felony while out on bail. She was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail, jail records showed.

According to Pulido, the victim of the most recent incident told officers that he was attacked on the 100 block of West Beach Street, and identified Yasin, whom he knew, as the suspect.

Officers arrested her four hours later when they spotted her driving home.

Following her arrest, Detectives served a search warrant at Yasin’s home where they located evidence and the knife she used during the attack, Pulido said.

Yasin was facing attempted murder charges for allegedly stabbing a 31-year-old woman multiple times in the area of Lynbrook Court and Vic Rugh Lane on Aug. 2.

Anyone with information about this case (21W-00304) is asked to contact Det. Nelson Hernandez at 768-3358.
