SOQUEL—Santa Cruz Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday arrested three people after they allegedly burglarized a house in Soquel.

Elizabeth Chandler, Colby Jackson and Henry Hansen were charged with burglary, vandalism and resisting arrest. Only Jackson remained in custody Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, neighbors on the 5200 block of Prescott Road called 911 just after 4 p.m. after hearing breaking glass coming from a nearby home. The neighbors reported seeing several people inside the house.

Deputies were there within minutes and saw one of the suspects walking toward a creek behind the home. The deputies also spotted the other two suspects climbing up the hillside from the creek.

K-9 officer Dries helped with the arrest.
