—Tarmo Hannula/The Pajaronian

Mamh Corrigan sets up a display of trees at his family lot, Corrigan Christmas Trees, in the East Lake Village Shopping Center in Watsonville. He said his family is now in their 31st season of selling trees. They carry a range of trees, from tabletop to 14-feet. They also carry “snow spray” and fresh wreaths. The shopping center is at 966 East Lake Ave. For information, call 818.2860.

Tarmo Hannula has been the lead photographer with The Pajaronian newspaper in Watsonville since 1997. More recently Good Times & Press Banner. He also reports on a wide range of topics, including police, fire, environment, schools, the arts and events. A fifth generation Californian, Tarmo was born in the Mother Lode of the Sierra (Columbia) and has lived in Santa Cruz County since the late 1970s.   1. Dear fellow community members, I urge you not to become embroiled in a ridiculous shouting match from Steve. It adds traffic to the website which equates to money for the company.
    Please boycott any conversation in which Steve tries to egg on a response from the community. I’m starting to think he I in cahoots with the paper to drive up interest in the site in increase revenues

    • Don’t imagine the paper has anything official to do with ST, and not sure how that increases revenue, but I am off topic. I agree with Monique. Vote him out.

      That said, I can’t believe Cabrillo puts up with his (insert word) behavior and comments. I would like to see some sort of oversight from the Board of Trustees. He is an embarrassment to the college and antithetical to the mission of any college.

    • Let’s just down vote him…. So people can see he does not speak for watsonville. I guess that doesn’t work well when he’s blocked most of the people on here now.
