WATSONVILLE—A Watsonville man was arrested for burglary after he was caught on a security camera worming his way through a small window of a local business.

Raul Diaz, 41, allegedly stole a small amount of cash from the business. He was caught, along with accomplice Marilyn Uribe, hours later after detectives used Diaz’s description and that of his vehicle.

Diaz and Uribe were pulled over and arrested late Tuesday night. Officers found a majority of the stolen money.

They were booked into the county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail for commercial burglary, looting during a state of emergency, and conspiring to commit a felony.
