Maria Leontina Soares

Maria Leontina Soares died on Aug. 31 at the age of 81 after fighting Lou Gehrig’s disease; a horrific condition also known as ALS.

She was a loving mother and beloved grandmother who adored her grandkids.

She leaves behind her daughter Marlene Soares, son-in-law Jimmy Luis and three granddaughters, Samantha, Cali and Daisy Luis; as well as her sister Rosa Brazil and brother Roger Sousa.
