The Watsonville American Little League Athletics routed the Pajaro Valley Little League Giants on Monday to finish off a clean 5-0 sweep in Majors Interleague play.
Issac Vargas hit a home run and had four RBIs for the A’s. Jr. Ibarra and Dominic Hernandez each singled and hit a pair of doubles. Ibarra scored three runs and Hernandez had three RBIs. Richie Ortiz doubled and scored three runs.
Joseph Rose doubled for the Giants.
• Padres 10, Athletics 4 – The Padres thumped the Athletics 10-4 on Monday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors action.
Reese Hamalainen tripled and drove in two runs for the Padres. Aiden Bajan and Trey Silva each hit a pair of singles. Gio Aguirre and Isaac Garcia each doubled and the latter also hit a single.
For the A’s, Joel Mendoza and Diego Reyes both doubled. Mendoza also scored three runs.
• Cubs 16, Rays 3 – The Cubs made quick work of the Rays in a 16-3 Pajaro Valley Little League Majors win on Tuesday.
For the Cubs, Adam Martinez had two singles, a home run, three RBIs and three scored runs. Miguel Orozco singled, doubled, scored three runs and brought home three runs. Diego Mitchell doubled and drove in two runs.
Ryker Ramirez singled and scored once for the Rays.
• Giants 12, Astros 8 – The Giants edged the Astros 12-8 on Wednesday night in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors play.
Steven LaGrange homered for the Giants, while Harrison Bechtold and Jacob Vitela both hit triples. Matthew Flores hit a pair of singles.
Adrian Casillas doubled and had two RBIs for the Astros. Michael Gonzales scored three runs.
• Braves 12, Athletics 11 – Nicola Teixeira capped off a three-run, game-winning rally by stealing home to power the Braves to a 12-11 win over the Athletics on Thursday in Pajaro Valley Little league Majors action.
Christian Magana clubbed a pair of triples and drove in five runs for the Braves. Aiden Sabatino also belted a pair of triples.
For the A’s, Zac Sandoval hit three singles, Chase Dicey singled, doubled and drove in three runs and Pablo Bermudez had two RBIs.

• Mets 12, Red Sox 8 – Jose Silva tripled and had three RBIs for the Mets in their 12-8 win over the Red Sox in Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors play on Tuesday.
Ruben More singled, doubled and drove in three runs for the Six.
• Yankees 13, Cardinals 5 – Nathaniel Aguilar tripled and tossed five innings of no-hit ball with 12 strikeouts in the Yankees’ 13-5 win over the Cardinals on Wednesday in Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors action.
Ben Miller singled and scored once for the Cards.
