The Cubs hammered the Astros 18-6 on Monday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors action.
Miguel Orozco hit a home run and drove in four runs for the Cubs. Issac Chavez and Adam Martinez scored three runs. Colin Hirahara and Nate Bagchee had two singles and combined for six RBIs.
For the Astros, Isaiah Casillas singled, scored a run and drove in a score.
• Padres 22, Braves 12 – The Padres blasted the Braves 22-12 in a high-scoring Pajaro Valley Little League Majors game on Tuesday.
For the Padres, Reece Hamalainen and Trey Silva each had three hits, including a double, and scored four times. Silva also had two RBIs. Michael Reskendez homered and Isaac Garcia had two singles and scored three times, while Aidan Bajan doubled.
Nicolas Teixeira singled, hit two home runs, drove in three runs and scored three runs for the Braves. Nicolas Jimenez had two singles and Nathaniel Arreola doubled.
• Giants 14, Athletics 12 – Marcus Gonzales singled, tripled and scored three runs in the Giants’ 14-12 Pajaro Valley Little League Majors win over the Athletics on Wednesday.
Lucky McHenry hit three singles and scored three times, Noah Moon singled, doubled, tripled and scored four times and Markus Barcelo had two doubles for the Giants.
For the A’s, Joel Mendoza hit a pair of doubles and scored three runs. Bobby Greene hit two singles and scored three runs. Zack Sandoval and Chase Dicey each had a pair of singles.

AAA MINORS
• Red Sox 12, Cardinals 2 – Red Sox pitchers Jesse Navarro and Diego Mejia combine to no-hit the Cardinals through five innings in their 12-2 Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors win on Monday.
Marcus Gonzales singled, tripled and scored three runs. Austin Duque and Elias Siegal both doubled, while the former also scored a trio of runs.
Ben Miller and Brandon Smith each scored a run for the Cards.
• Yankees 8, Pirates 5 – The Yankees edged the Pirates 8-5 on Tuesday in Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors play.
Valentino Razo hit a pair of singles for the Yankees.
Adrian Morgan singled, scored and drove in a run for the Pirates.
• Mets 20, Orioles 4 – The Mets exploded for 20 runs in their 20-4 win over the Orioles in Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors action on Wednesday.
Mason Borrego hit a pair of singles and a triple, while scoring three runs for the Mets. Ryan Solorio singled, doubled and scored three runs. Jacob Jimenez doubled.
Samuel Garcia drove in three runs with an inside-the-park homer for the O’s.
