WATSONVILLE — Linda Wong Yee died peacefully at home with her sons at her side. She was 68.

She was born in China on Dec. 16, 1949 to Sau Ngun Yu and Yun Wong. She was a longtime resident of Santa Cruz County. She was a fantastic culinary cook who loved to use fresh produce to create her spectacular dishes. She enjoyed nice long conversations with her sons and friends. at home or in nice restaurants. She was also involved with the Senior Chinese Community Center.

She is survived by her two sons, Fred Yee and Gordon Yee; her mother, Sau Ngun Yu; and siblings, Keng Wu and Kiang Ho. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Suey Yee.

Visitation will take place at Ave Maria Memorial on Friday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. until noon. Service will commence at noon followed by committal at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road in Watsonville.
