WATSONVILLE — Juvenal C. Reyes died peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home in Watsonville surrounded by his family. He was 72.

Mr. Reyes was born to Graciano Reyes and Guadalupe Ceja on April 2, 1945 at Michoacán, Mexico. He was a resident of this community for 45 years, and before retiring he worked at Reiter Berry Farms for 25 years. He was a hard worker who always provided for his family. Mr. Reyes liked to watch soccer on television and enjoyed walking to the park to be with his friends. He also loved to play cards with his family and friends.

Mr. Reyes is survived by his wife of 44 years, Leonilda Tapia Juarez; his two sons, Martin and Jorge Reyes; one daughter, Marina Zarate; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Monday, May 29 from 5-9 p.m. with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Valley Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 30 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
