WATSONVILLE — Local nonprofit organization Farm Discovery at Live Earth will hold its annual benefit dinner Saturday.

Farm Discovery offers various educational programs for Pajaro Valley youth, aiming to connect them and their families with farming and nature, as well as build healthy relationships with food.

This year’s event, “Sow & Grow: The Farm Discovery Fall Feast in the Fields” will be held Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at Live Earth Farm, 172 Litchfield Lane.

Appetizers will be provided by Chef Cori Goudge-Ayers of Aptos’ Persephone restaurant. Wines from Storrs Winery, Chesebro Wine and Scheid Family Vineyard will be poured.

Discretion Brewery will provide craft beer and cocktails by Venus Spirits will be served as well.

A main course by Chef Andrea Mollenaur, executive chef at Lifestyle Culinary Arts, is planned, including a main course consisting of German-style potato salad over yogurt sauce and chicken drumsticks over veggies.
