The annual Cinco de Mayo Festival will unfold in downtown Watsonville on May 7.
Put on by Fiestas Patrias, the free event will bring live music, food booths, arts and crafts and information tables to Watsonville Plaza and surrounding streets.
Live entertainment will include folkloric dance groups, Mariachi de Javier Diaz, youth groups, and popular bands from Mexico, including Los Grandes de Tijuana.
Fiestas Patrias de Watsonville is an all-volunteer community organization.
“The goals of Fiestas Patrias are to contribute to supporting our local downtown businesses and building bridges of understanding within our community,” said Oscar Rios of Fiestas Patrias.
The free event runs from 11:30am-5pm in downtown Watsonville at the corner of Main and West Beach streets.
