Pascuala Gallardo Marquez died in Watsonville surrounded by her family on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018. She was 77.

She was born to Zenaido Gallardo and Antonia Marquez in Jalisco, Mexico on May 17, 1941. She was a resident of this community for many years. Ms. Gallardo Marquez was an excellent home maker, always keeping her home tidy and tending to her loving family. She liked to read and write and take long walks. Ms. Gallardo Marquez was a woman of faith, and attended the Mass/services on regular basis at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sons, Jorge, Carlos, and Fernando Gonzalez Gallardo; five daughters, Alicia, Silvia, Irma, Marta Araceli and Maru Gonzalez Gallardo; 24 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Gonzalez; and three sons, Arturo, Ricardo and Juan Manuel Gonzalez Gallardo. 

Visitation was held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Dec. 22 with a Chapel Blessing and a rosary. Further services will be held in Mexico.
