Workers from K&D Landscaping of Watsonville volunteer their efforts last week to fortify a stone patio with fresh grout at Camphill Communities, a life-sharing community for adults with developmental disabilities near Santa Cruz. “Their vision of community living involves relationships of mutual respect, ongoing education, meaningful work, and natural circles of support,” said Kelsie White, marketing director with K&D. White said Central Home Supply came forward with a donation of materials to help with the upgrade. The crew at K&D maintains an ongoing routine of volunteer efforts to upgrade landscaping at charities, schools and help centers.
