SOQUEL — Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who allegedly hugged an 11-year-old girl in a Soquel store Saturday morning.
According to SCSO Sgt. Brian Cleveland, the girl was with her mother in a store near 30th Avenue and Portola Drive when the man hugged the girl from behind.
The girl’s mother and clerk kicked the suspect out of the store, and he left on 30th Avenue towards Brommer Street.
The suspect faces charges of annoying or molesting a child.
