AROMAS — Melissa Medrano-Ramirez died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at home in Aromas surrounded by her family. She was 24.
She was born on July 21, 1993 to Blanca and Jose Luis Medrano.
She was a vivacious spirit who embraced all aspects of life. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was very passionate about Art and History. She graduated with honors from The University of California, Santa Cruz. She loved spending time with her beloved dog Simba and her best friend Estephany Naranjo.
She is survived by her parents, Blanca and Jose; her sister, Vanessa Medrano-Ramirez; and her aunt, Nora Ramirez.
The family would like to thank her Dr. Amy Mcmullen along with the staff of Dr. Weber and Hospice of Santa Cruz, Nurse Joan, Chris, Katherine and Carol.
A Rosary for Melissa will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Pajaro. The Mass will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Church. The Burial is on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 12 p.m. at San Juan Bautista Cemetery in San Juan Bautista.
