Albert Ramirez Rodriguez Sr. passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 54.
Albert was born in Watsonville to Geraldo and Isabel Rodriguez, where he was raised in Pajaro and worked at the Pajaro Food Center for 10 years with his younger brother. Albert graduated from Watsonville High School in 1980. Albert had worked at Couch Distributing for the past 25 years where he was affectionately known as “The Governor”, “Legend”, and “Uncle Albert”.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Michelle Rodriguez; sons, Albert Rodriguez, and Michael Burgos, and his grandson, Matthew; brother, Jerry Rodriguez (Maria), and his nephews, Jerry and Christopher Rodriguez and niece, Naomi Rodriguez.
A memorial service will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 3:00 PM. Reception to follow at the American Legion.
