WATSONVILLE — Estanislado Paz Angeles died peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. He was 81.
Mr. Angeles was born on Nov. 23, 1935 to Jose Angel Angeles and Petra Paz in La Junta, Colo. He nourished people around him with love, faith and music.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Angeles of 42 years; his children, Yolanda Perez, Georgina Angeles, Ricardo Angeles, Sylvia Blair, Christina Gonzales, Anjanette Hernandez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2 from 3-9 p.m. at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, located at 222 East Lake Ave., Watsonville. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, July 3 at Valley Catholic Church, 2401 East Lake Ave., Watsonville. Burial will follow at Valley Public Cemetery. A post funeral gathering will be held following the burial at 12:30 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church located at 112 East Beach St., Watsonville.
