WATSONVILLE — A teenage gang member is in juvenile hall after officers found a loaded gun while serving a search warrant at his home.

Officers from Watsonville Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the Santa Cruz County Gang Task Force arrested the 16-year-old on the 800 block of Vista Montana Drive on Wednesday.

The suspect had a loaded .40 caliber Glock handgun, as well as drugs that were packaged for sale, said Sgt. Juan Trujillo.
